Following graduation I was most fortunate to receive invitations to exhibit in the UK, Europe and United States in successive years, combined with press and television coverage on the news and arts programmes, two decades before the internet meant that work reached a wide audience.
Thanks to sponsorship from DuPont*, Rouquinet Deroy and New Home materials and equipment needs we few and I could afford to experiment. It was also the early days of semi-professional video so the live work could be documented to review later in the studio.
